Geocomposites & Geocells
Geocells are three-dimensional, expandable panels made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that improve the structural and functional behavior of soil and aggregate infill materials. When expanded during installation, they resemble a honeycomb and form the walls into which specified infill materials are placed and compacted. Typical infill materials are aggregates, local onsite materials, vegetated topsoil, and concrete.
Turbidity Curtain (Floating silt fence)
A turbidity curtain, also commonly referred to as a turbidity barrier, silt barrier or a silt curtain, is used to contain turbidity (sediment and silt) that is stirred up by construction activities taking place in or near bodies of water, dredging operations and rainwater runoff. ABASCO floating turbidity curtains have a series of continuous flotation elements along its top and a fabric skirt hanging below the floats. The skirt is typically long enough to be within one foot of the bottom and can be used to contain various turbidity. Turbidity curtains & silt curtains are usually made in lengths of 25, 50 or 100 ft. and those section are joined to make one continuous containment barrier that encloses a worksite. These silt curtains also come in three different types, which are all dependent on different applications and environmental variables. What makes a tough competitor?
These Studded Tee posts are made from rail steel. Like the rails that support and flex under the weight of a train, our posts have the same combination of strength and resiliency – guaranteeing a minimum yield point of 50,000 PSI and an ultimate tensile strength greater than 80,000 PSI.
Posts are made weather resistant by an industrial quality finish coat of Green or Orange paint (other colors upon request). Some post tops include an accent color and can also be reflectorized as a special order.
Posts are packaged five to a bundle with a 200-piece master bundle.
Dewatering Bags are designed to trap silt, sand, and other sediment fines from construction sites before they can do damage to the environment; and to assist the contractor with an economical means of avoiding the costly cleanup of storm water systems. As water is pumped through the bag, it captures most of the sediment resulting in the discharge of clear to near-clear water. When full, dewatering bags can be disposed of as a solid waste; cut open and mixed with the on-site soil and seeded; or otherwise directed by the site engineer. All our dewatering bags are constructed using a double-needle J-seam, and incorporate a fabric flange large enough to accommodate up to a 6″ discharge hose using the attached heavy-duty straps.
